Because it's the most ambiguous username I've ever seen and I used to live in Manchester.

I agree, online play (and even 4-person split-screen) would have made Excite Truck one of the biggest titles on the market. Multiplayer was its only weakness, and if Excite Truck 2 fixes that, we will have a winner.
Bizarre, after that previous press release I felt embarrassed - thought I was taken in by a silly hoax - but this is all the same info again.
Unless... This magazine found that hoax press release, and has put together an article based on it. Terrible journalism if true... :P
EDIT - the info is 100% the same, as are the screenshots. Go and read the press release on gamesindustry - it reeks of "hoax" (terrible language...).
Im 95% this is a terrible hoax, and the magazine got sucked in.

Or, it could be the opposite. The orginal "hoax" announcement was taken from this yet to be finished article.
As critical of gaming magizines as I am, I just find it unlikely the editors of the Spanish version of Nintendo Magizine stumbled upon the fake release from gaming blog and quickly got everything they need for thier write up from the announcement, copied the pictures and went on without thinking twice about it. Also they must of produced the image of the black truck themselves since it wasn't with the orginal pictures.
This might explain why the orginal release had such bad english. It's possible whoever leaked it just ran the
spanish article through google translator or something, and didn't bother to proof read it.
It would be a pretty huge mistske to run a hoax article in an official Nintendo Magazine - surely they get their info straight from the horse's mouth? If this isn't true then some poor Spanish editor is in for a serious bollocking / sacking and the next issue will be full of apologies. Looks real to me.
For what it's worth:
-> Racing:
This is what Nintendo just announced. Online multiplayer with up th six players which could include your Mii. It will not be the only "super-novel feature" of "Excite Truck 2". It will also feature new circuits and courses through its 8 game scenarios, which will even take us to the moon. Keep an eye out for gravity. The star system will keep counting and there will be two new stunt types with the car. By getting Excite points you can convert your 4x4 into a powerful vehicle that will look great with the new and improved graphics and lighting effects.
Sorry, the "quedará de vicio" phrase is very Spanish (as in Spain Spanish, not Latin-American Spanish) but I believe the translation is close enough.

All excite truck needed was online, and if this is true it will be huge |
Hugely crappy even if it sells...
Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
I didn't get Excite Truck because of the lack of a solid multiplayer system.. but if this doesn't turn out to be a seed of the hoax, then it will be a must get for me

if you're gonna "crap" a game, give reasons.
and if you hadn't played the game...
