No, the PS4 is not even close to sell x2 Wii U, actually Wii U is selling more, and HAS sold more in the same period, PS4 sold more in 2015, so?

The first Q1 of the year is ALWAYS strong for PS console, is at holidays level, look PSVita, it sold in Q1 more than in the holidays in Japan. That's what is gonna to happen for PS4, actually the PS4 basis is 10k.

The only exclusive PS4 game on this list is Bloodborne and IT WAS NOT A SYSTEM SELLER. A system seller should sell 500k+ imo.

Of course GTA V helped Playstation a lot (btw GTA V was exclusive in Japan)!
Games can boost consoles even if they aren't exclusive, but if games are exclusive they boost consoles much more!
But this is my opinion. You have your own opinion.

Dude Xbox one is dead in Japan. If someone wants those games, their only real option is ps4. So all of those might as well be exclusives. and blood borne WAS a system seller. It's a Japanese AAA for God's sake. The fact that it didn't sell 500k+isn't the games fault, it's the ps4's

No, a sistem seller is a game for a console that sell good. look Destiny. it is a PS4 exclusive? no. but has sold a gigaton of PS4. Like Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Fifa, Battlefield. THOSE are sistem seller, and are not exclusives.

And is not necessary 500k sold in Japan, is necessary a good marketing.

No, is not. a console during the holidays is selling ALWAYS better than in the other months globally for all sistem. Games or not games, holidays is when you sell more.

I don't know why, but only in Japan, and only for the PS console, is not. the first quarter is at holidays level, strange but true. After that, by April, the sales always dropped like a rock.

Well, we will see. I actually think PS4 and Vita will do ok this holidays in Japan... but nothing of super. both will probabily sell in the December weeks some like 40k or 60k. A decent numbers but even WIU will be at this level, and 3DS will sell withouth problem over 100k.

Yes please do so i have played so many JRPG's i loved since PSX would be great to being able to play them again.
Nintendo has never brought me anything fun or exiciting for me i dislike Mario it's boring same goes for Zelda etc. the only games on a Nintendo console/handheld i ever liked were Bomberman and Goldensun

If they want to reclaim Japan, then they need a PlayStation Phone. In fact I think that is the only way to claim any region, and have a decent grasp on it. iOS and Android people will leave PlayStation 4 in a heart beat if Apple or Samsung make a console that plays Madden, Call of Duty, Assasins Creed, and the lot, at the same level as XBO or PS4. Unification and simplicity is the reason for consoles, if someone else is doing it better, and it works on your TV and your phone then their is no reason for PlayStation.

A PS Phone with access to Remote Play, PS Now, PS Vue, PS Video, and PS Music with access to the plethora of apps on Mobile, and the gaming power of PlayStation would have a very good chance of reclaiming Japan. In very little time it would be stealing good chunks of market share from iOS and Android as well. Hopefully Sony has something in the works in the next two years to replace the Vita, and own a large portion of both the home and mobile entertainment industry.
