"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Sounds good to me, as someone who probably won't go into the creative stuff that much, and is reliant on other people making levels, this is a good starting point.

It's not a real game until I get to rescue and bone the princess.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

"blah blah they're all rehashes blah blah ... still not paying $60 for a level editor blah blah blah"

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Day one purchase for me. Really looking forward to what the community is gonna do with this thing.

Cool, more than enough. I expect a mix of connected stages and maybe challenge levels like in NSMBU.

Sounds good. I wonder if any levels from past games will be recreated by Nintendo for the game. If not, I'm sure the community will do more than its fair share. I hope Super Mario Bros. 2 and Yoshi's Island assets are released someday as well.

I am very much hoping for a more creative/patient mind than mine to recreate all of the older games with more recent assets.  I also think we will see additional assets like the ones you mention put out later as a la carte style DLC... hopefully anyway.

This, Xenoblade, and Persona are my three contenders for GOTY :)
