To be fair, the Wii U was already dead anyways. I mean, if having Mario Kart and Smash Bros. in the same year, the latter being released in the holiday season, couldn't save it, nothing will.

Splatooooooon! Great to see a new IP doing so well! I hope Nintendo is encouraged by the success and continues down this path.

Mario Kart 8 had sold 1.2 million copies in its first weekend. ;)

Splatoon in the next 5 weeks must sell ONLY 30,576 unit for close the 200k gap.

Ups, I thought you mean lifetime...
In 10 weeks the gap should be around 50-80k.
