It doesn't need 3rd party support to survive, but it definitely does in order to do well

Ya, and when it tanks Nintendo loses million for that entire generation.

Nope, nope, nope. False, false, false.

Every console needs third party support. The NX can survive without it but it will certainly struggle.
And what if the NX isn't both a handheld and console? The next console will just turn into another Gamecube or Wii U.

Then, on that top 10 the OP listed there's third-party games done by third-party companies that work for Nintendo.

there are no third party's that only work for nintendo, if there would they would be first party. What you maybe think is exclusive IP rights like pokemon video games

Pokemon is done by a third-party, and Nintendo has some, but not every single right to the IP. Hence, second-party. Or third-party working for Nintendo, whatever take you prefer.

again there is no such thing as second party, Nintendo owns 33% of the pokemon IP, Pokemon company owns 33% and gamefreak owns 33% the last % idk

There's no such thing as second party: it is a third-party working for Nintendo, but not contractly obligated to it.

Game Freak could go tomorrow and make games for the Iphone. Hal Laboratory could make games for the Ps4 and Shin'en Multimedia could might as well take some vacations.

So you're agreeing with me that Nintendo does need third-party support.

The reason why the PS4 is doing so well is mainly because of the third-parties. I see it everyday, people talking about COD AW, BF4 and all the other big third-party games. My point is that people demand third-party titles, and believe that those are the games to buy. It is simply where the market is right now. Hence, why Nintendo needs third-party support to attract consumers.

Nintendo cannot provide clear AAA first party titles right now. The reviews will soon catch on and since their magic is gone, they will get punished. I don't see what they can do without third parties.
