Not necessarily kickstarter. But indies yes. Indies have been a huge help to the Wii U and the Vita, which otherwise wouldn't really have been able to sustain an audience.

I don't like indie games, I don't play indie games, but I can see the positive for those who enjoy them. Good job in that, i guess.

I have a lot of indie games for my wiiu. I feel like people fail to see the value that virtual console games also provide for the system. I have earthbound, minish cap, super metroid and Metroid Prime trilogy. Honestly I am very happy with my wiiu. I find it the most enjoyable system of an admittedly mediocre generation.

Vita is also mostly helped by 3rd party in japan and will still be for years  , it has an audience for all of US who like japanese games

I'm not pleased it went to PS4 though. People funded it based on it being a wiiu exclusive. It should have stayed an exclusive.

Meh that's a no for me. Without Kickstarter I have a good library of games to play without it. So even without KS i still would've been enjoying my system either way

With all those billions made during the Wii years Nintendo should have snatched far more indie exclusives.. its still ridiculous MS got Minecraft as timed exclusive

Steam doesn't exist don't you know.
