Yep, dolphin emulation is a hell of a thing. The widescreen gives it away every time.

Its crazy how much a differnce dolphine can make on these games, just running the games at higher res + AA modes.

If nintendo did a console like the PS4, all their games could easily look better than what we see with the dolphine emulator.

Nintendo need to go put on big boy pants and make a serious console.

what was the point of this thread? there is already enough of them agreeing with you haha. biggest disappointment for me at E3 great franchise treated like a filler title to minimise the drought.

When I saw the reveal trailer, I thought so too, but if you skip to around the 5min mark, it actually looks a lot better than the GameCube version

That said, this game does need a lot of polish

Star Fox 64 looks better than Zeros. been waiting since the 64 to get my hands on the quality Star Fox game, and this doesn't cut it. this game is disrespectful to The Star Fox legacy.

Honestly, it looks worse to me. This is the most fan service game Nintendo has produced since Twilight Princess and NSMB. Very disappointing.

Star Fox need a split like Metroid has with the Prime games and the 3D games. Arcade Star Fox and "on foot" Star Fox which would basically be a battlefront/no man's sky mash up.

It looks quite bad, like some cheap indie game. Oh well, I wasn't planning on buying the game so its not a big deal for me.

Try comparing the actual Gamecube version of Assault at 480p instead of a touched up Dolphin emulation.
