Capcom could have simply continued milking SF IV instead of making an entirely new SF. It's pretty apparent that Capcom aren't in a good financial position.

But overall we shouldn't be acting all surprised here, are you seeing Xbox guys complaining about Tomb Raider? You probably aren't. The only reason you don't see people complaining about SF is that there are less Xbox fans on here and as a whole and that especially on here not too many people care for Street Fighter, don't think for a second that this is any kind of special hypocrisy towards Tomb Raider. It's the same hypocrisy that fanbases of a certain console always use, for all timed or fully exclusive third party games.

It would take 7788888888883 years before it releases. Sony just made it possible we get it next year and exclusively on PS4 for consoles is their bargain.

Streetfighter is not even their biggest franchise.

Not in the form SFV is currently in. Capcom released the many iterations of SFIV because they claimed they couldn't develope a newer title and kept rebalancing the same game and adding new content.

Because over half of next gen gamers are on PS4, that's why.

I would imagine a large part of this is that Tomb Raider was announced before the exclusivity was announced and there was no indication that SE was going to wait on a Tomb Raider sequel before it was announced.

SFV on the other hand was announced immediately as an exclusive and rumors before that had been going around that it would take years until Capcom decided to make a completely new Street Fighter so people were just happy to see that it was happening.

The first seems more like those multiplat exclusive deals people hate in general such as the Destiny PS4 exclusive stuff while the second seems more like Bayonetta 2 which got complaints but most people agree that without Nintendo it would not have been made and that helps temper the situation.

Sony helped fund SF5 to get the game out much sooner.

MS is giving money to keep TR off Ps4 at least for the holidays.

Also so not many people like Microsoft as a company. 

Easy sony can do no wrong while ms can only do wrong.

And anyone who thinks street fighter (one of if not the most popular fighting game) wouldnt have been made is crazy

There's also some good will towards Sony for allowing simultaneous release on PC, and cross play.

MS is holding back the PC version,  and have sticks up their butts in regards to xplay. They just slightly relented recently and only on "Xbox" games. Aka, not stream.

It's not that it wouldn't have been made it's when it would have been made. You should reaserch What they were saying about SF years ago before this deal was even concived.
