That's okay, I won't mind of Cloud doesn't used a perpetually clenched Winnie the Pooh fist to push 20" buttons on a panel.
Tabata is the one that changed Versus around. Versus had you playing as other party members on the fly. There's gameplay concept footage that exists of this fact. It was still an action battle system, but only because it was a spinoff. I believe the most Nomura would change about the battle system is making it more like X-2/XIII w/o the Auto-Battle/Dresspheres/Synergy systems, as they were natural evolutions of the ATB system. That's as far as I believe he would go.

You didn't like the weird tower defense minigame mid way through the RPG? Shame. Knowing how they do it, I can see them just removing Fort Condor entirely and just having a boss battle in it's place.
And you know, of all your extras, I want none of them. The game was already big, with Chocobo racing and breeding, extra bosses.
Man, I just thought, can't wait to see what Cait Sith look like.

You're off point, and talking out of context. the discussion is not about turn-base, it is about controlling more than one character.

I would. Seriously, I never understand how a stable of the FF series isn't liked. It's part of the gameplay.
I welcome them. And more frequent too just to annoy anyone who doesn't like them.

I actually dissagree with this. After seeing the trailer and how ridiculous large and lively Midgar was, I think its best they focus on making all iconic and crutial loations as believable and rich as possible. If they can do that and incoprorate every locale from the world map into the game then great, but if it means waiting til 2020 then no thanks.
