No doubt about it. I give them credit for what they did manage to do with it though. NO ONE except Nintendo could have survived they way they have been with no third party support, yet they managed to somehow.

Nintendo fusing their home and portable hardware divisions tells us one thing.. No more waiting.

I also don't see how NX wouldn't be backwards compatible. Splatoon, Mario Kart, and Smash continue to grow.. People will be playing Xenoblade and Zelda for a while.. It wouldn't make sense to just abandon that.


I disagree, Sony and Microsoft would have been able to reach 10 million sold without third party help

all coming out in 2015. In fact i don´t remember seeing any game that had a 2016 release at all in their digital event. I also own a Playstation but to be honest i have a hard time remembering any games that weren´t 2016 launch titles. So while Sony definitely brought out the big guns i´m still disappointed.

I've decided to wait until there's  new Zelda game or as real Metroid. As long as they don't release one, I won't buy the NX. And I will buy the Wii U version of Zelda HD, won't give a penny for the NX version.

Absolutely this. Nintendo were totally caught off guard by how 'hard' it was to do HD development when you didn't try to for more than half a decade after the rest of the world had been doing it, so why wouldn't they be totally caught off guard by how 'hard' it is to make games for this new system that will assumedly be somewhat as powerful as the current systems. Can they just stop being behind by an entire generation? Can they ever catch up to online? What are they going to do when everyone has 4K TVs?

yeah agree. Nintendo just dont have the capacities to support a modern hd system like the wii u sufficient. 

I doubt they could support an nx on same level as xbox/ps with more then 2 games per year. Thed need to get more developer teams and make them bigger. Hell as far as i know ubisoft alone does have more developer then nintendo.

they released 3 games so far in 2015, like 3 games in 2013 and announced nothing big for 2016. They definitve COULD get alot better sales, but not with released a good gamer every 6 month.

Holy hell WII U is really dead.

Next Level has been creating a Wii U game. Since we didn’t hear about it during yesterday’s Digital Event, it’s a possibility that it’s been moved to the NX.
