HD development caught them off guard. They wont have that problem this time.

Never doubt Nintendo, Einsam. They know how to bring the surprises.

Well it seems people suddenly forgot that Nintendo specified they would only be talking about 2015 games and some early 2016 games, and usuall the Nintendo gloom begins for no reason whatsoever.

COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).

-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst

I still think that Nintendo can rebound with the next home console system, but for sure they understand that they can't save the Wii U anymore. Still would like more support for it, but it does add up because they are slowly dropping support for the Wii U

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

^ Actually they never talked about early 2016 games, if i'm not mistaken.
They said they would focus on 2015 games and Iwata said that there were unnounced games for early 2016.

Personally, i never expected this DE to be like last year, in terms of games. I even said that a couple of times.
I just never thought things would be this bad: only 2 new Wii U games and all of them for 2015.

I always said that Wii U would be replaced in 2016 and after this presentation i'm only more convinced of that.
The worst part is that although i believe that NX will see Nintendo releasing every game they make on both consoles, i fear that they still haven't learned what kind of games the consumers want.

After 3 years, Nintendo has sent little signs that they KNOW what kind of games people want to play. And it's what i fear.

The NX should have been announced but understandibly Nintendo couldn't do that because it would have killed Wii-U sales completely. But i was afraid this would happen, i'm also certain that Wii-U Zelda will eventually come to NX.

Sounds like nintendo are killing the Wii U in 2015.
2016 they will try their luck with Project NeXt + Mobile.

I dont think there will be any big announcement games released for the Wii U, that we dont already know of.

The same thing that happened to Sega Saturn... If Nintendo is going all out on NX, I hope to God that it succeeds or...Nintendo consoles will be a thing of the past. I also am wondering what their mobile division is doing. Maybe since their games are being developed in house, they have more to do or something. Whatever happens, I'm certain Nintendo has abandoned Wii U. Nobody important showed up besides Miyamoto and he showed a game that could have been made on Gamecube...worst E3 since Wii Music😳

Hate to say it, but yes...
But hey, that just means more games for NX, right?

After seeing the Wii U titles Nintendo had to offer at E3, I think it's a sign that they're ready to move on soon.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I'm hoping that they're not completely abandoning it but it seems that they're putting most of their focus on the NX.
