Forums - Gaming - So... Who won E3?

Which one?

Microsoft 445 24.86%

Sony 1,344 75.08%

Total:1,789

I didn't watch either all through but I watch more of Sonys because it felt snappier. They improved a lot in terms of presentation since last year.

Both showed lots of games I might consider getting on PC. Nether gave much of a sales pitch for me personally. I toyed with getting a ps4 a couple of years ago when there was a lot of fresh hype, but then I bought a faster laptop and didn't see the point.

Backwards compatibility is coming a little late to xbone. If they had it day 1 and it might have made a big difference. Not to me though - my 360 collected dust as it just played game I could get on steam.

I love how you put those words,...........but they showed FF 7 which also backfire

A complete redesign making it a new game.

Nah i am just saying before someone troll on your comment  ,   but indeed remake is not just port but re imagine and it's considered "New" games. So your words is true.

75%...If that's not a clear answer I don't know what is.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Microsoft was so much better because they actually showed exclusives. Even without Crackdown, Scalebound and Quantum Break. I watched on Youtube and Geoff's panel all gave Sony a B while Microsoft got a mix of A and B.

Not to bash MS's conference, it was good enough, but they didn't show all that many exclusives either...

They showed Halo, but we already knew about that, so that is the equivalent of Uncharted in the Sony conf. Then they showed Recore, a acGI trailer/cutscene with no gameplay, which I guess can be seen as the equivalent of Horizon, although we got actual gameplay with Horizon. Then of course they showed Gears 4 gameplay, while we got TLG gameplay. Ms also showed Rare's IP, the pirate thingy, while Sony had MM's new IP.

But eh, I guess Sony didn't show any exclusives, and I was just dreaming the entire thing.

Xbox One has the best exclusives and its not even a debate anymore. People where saying wait till E3 to see what Sony has coming this year and the wait was for nothing. Horizon looks amazing and so does Ratchet and Clank but thats it for PS4. Microsoft showed first time gameplay for much bigger exclusives that are coming this year. Thats what I want to see.

Okay, so what you actually meant was that Sony didn't show any exclusives releasing this year at their E3. And you have a point there. But you can't act like MS showed tonnes of new exclusives releasing this year at their E3. As a matter of fact, they didn't announce a single new exclusive releasing 2015 at their conf, and what they showed first time gameplay off was Forza 6, and y'know, I can't say the gameplay surprised me, it's a driving sim, they wouldn't have had to show gameplay for that lol (as a matter of fact I'm not sure they did, I didn't pay too close attention to the Forza 6 part). You could stretch it and say they showed first time gameplay of Halo 5 too, but the mp beta was availible for many during last christmas.

But you really should have noted that all you cared about was what was releasing in 2015.

Its about more then 2015. Xbox One still has Quantum Break, Gears 4, Crackdown and Scalebound coming next year and thats just the ones we currently know about.

except the Uncharted franchise is more critically acclaimed than all those games combined...... then add last guardian..... the new ratchet..... like honestly......... crackdown? Really? That isn't even on SF V's level...

Only got one thing left to say on this thread. So glad I own a Xbox One.

Sony obliterated all competition, they kept hitting it out if the park for the entire duration...and they still managed to leave all their heavy hitters benched for later.

I was hoping for some new The Tomorrow Children and Persona 5 footage, but you can only show so much in 90 minutes.

Once again Sony delivered on everything that the gamers wanted.

Final Fantasy VII Remake, The Last Guardian, Shenmue 3 got full on Sony E3 press time, No Man's Sky, Guerilla Games finally got to announce their brand new IP that has been silent since forever.

They just delivered game after game after game this year.

Definitely Sony's.. They had TLG, Shenmue 3 and FFVII remake for crying out loud!

So much this. Seriously people, come on! The only things that could possibly top that are Half-Life 3 and GTA 6!
