i think tehy will still make one this year,a $50 one
if UNCHARTED 4 and FINAL FANTASY 15 were releasing this year then they cud outright get awy but not now
They can get away with it... they should drop it though.
There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'
The better question is "is Sony stupid enough to give the PS4 a price cut when it clearly doesn't need it?"
The answer is still up in the air. I'm not a betting man, but no.

it acutally needs it atleast to maintain dominating momentum
Yea, I think so. Maintain high profit margins for as long as possible. I think it's smart.

I don't know if you're seen the sales recently, so I'll let you in on a little known secret: The PS4 doesn't need a price drop to maintain domination momentum right now.
They don't need it yet, but in the near future they could decide between supporting sales with big releases and a lot of bundles or cut price already. If the first strategy is feasible, it should be preferred, while the first price cut, delayed to Q4 2016, could be bigger and more effective than $50. The best possible thing for Sony would be to be able to do the first cut at PS4 Slim launch. Right now they've been able to cut power consumption and weight by ~10%, but they'll need a die shrink of the APU to be able to make a Slim model, so major redesign schedule depends a lot on AMD.

yes it does as XBOX mainly perform well in holiday as good as to coverup entire year lead and also MS can easily comeback with MICROSOFT history and profits
At this point, Paris Game Week is most likely going to be the event in which the pricecut is announced. Considering that the 1TB was announced, if anything, we could hear a pricecut soon.
