I will give it a 6.5/10. Gears, Halo and Tomb raider all looked pretty decent. However, the new Rare game looks underwhelming and I almost fell asleep during the indies segment.
EDIT: Oh, and Recore also looked pretty cool!

Pacing was great, may it be an example to other conferences.

But the biggest reveal was RECORE which didn't show any gameplay.

I am playing Gears 2 and wasn't impressed with Gears 4.

Hololens, like Kinect before it, is an awesome looking piece of tech which I want the fuck away from my gaming.

I hate numbers so I won't rate shit. Maybe after I watch Sony's conference I could put numbers in perspective though.



Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Also Everythign was CGI.

Not counting the Indies, I counted at least two major new pieces of exclusive AAA IP.

I think you were watching a different conference.

Also you should probably check your expectations for Sony. 1-3 significant new IP is standard for both companies' conferences the last few years.


2, and one was all CGI....and the other  a pirate MMO? Really bad conference.

To much same old, same old. They only spent 10 min on VR and future gaming. I am tired of the same things I have been playing since 1995.

I did like the new controller, both gen 8 consoles shipped with crap controllers, so it is nice that at least one has went back and tweaked theirs. Hopefully, this one will be great.

Overall, I am feeling 5 out of 10
