Nothing surprising or that interesting. There was potential but they didn't deliver.

+ Rare Collection will be mine
+ Cuphead looks great
+ Halo 5 is a day one purchase for me
+ Gears of War isn't my thing but I liked the demo
+ Some nice looking indie games

- What's with all the CGI trailers? More gameplay plz
- Disappointed that Rare's new IP is an MMO
- Don't care about Hololens
- Ubisoft sucks

Not bad, improvement over last year but not too great. I would have liked to see more gameplay rather than CGI trailers. Whole thing was lacking that megaton showstopping announcement.

The new Gears was meh... and was my personally most expect game for this conference.

How can anyone rate that any higher then a 3 or 4?? 1 Damn new IP, ONE!! Same old gears,, halo, forza....BC is limited like 360 , hardly a big deal. I am shocked I thought MS would come out stronger then this. The door iw wide open sony.

Also Everythign was CGI.

I feel like it matched all reasonable expectations perfectly.

The problem is, reasonable expectations are generally that a console owner will follow the same standard Sony and Microsoft have for the last 5 years.

So we got a lot of third party demos, a lot of major first party sequel demos, a smattering of new IP which was actually really good, and then of course the rather stunning BC announcement.

That last part is really the only surprising thing, because with each passing year it gets harder and harder to surprise us.

Halo gameplay bored me (but i hate FPS's so that doesn't really mean anything)

ReCore completely took me by surprise so that's great (CGI trailer though)

Backwards compatibility is great

new controller is good I guess, no real opinion on that

mods in Fallout 4 is good

overall a lot more third party and indie stuff than I expected

Tomb Raider gameplay was poor imo, the trailer at the end was good though

Rare collection, cool, new Rare IP didn't really grab me

Hololens stuff, meh

Gears remaster, whatever, Gears 4 gameplay looked great
