Wasn't this an April Fools site?
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I remember some key people at platinum games showing interest in Star Fox. There are parts of the Wonderful 101 that almost seem like a tech demo for a Star Fox game.
Though that is obviously a fake. The URL does not have "nintendo.com" in it. Nintendo also likes to put pictures in the tab. The 8 bit Mario is the default tab image. The Star Fox Horizon web page does not have any tab image.
Games I have Finished
This is a old april fools joke. They even put in the Nintendo tabs in the original site. I didn't think they'd be dragging this site back from the grave... but hey, its E3 season.
Okay... not sure if I'm missing the sarcasm in the post

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]
| BasilZero said: Didnt they already say that Nintendo was actually working on the next Star Fox...not Platinum lol. |
Nintendo said that they were looking for a partner to help them finish up the game...could it be Platinum? Theoretically yes, however, this new IGN announcement specifically stated both that it would be an "unannounced" game and that this would be the gameplay debut, and Star Fox has already been announced and we have already seen gameplay (kinda), so it is highly unlikely that this has anything to do with Star Fox
