Thats true but they can also die by nintendos hand if they stop funding, Platinum should try to be multiplat again, at least for ounce. Vanquish, bayonetta 1 sold all more on playstation. The PS3 version sold a lot more than bayonetta 2 despite it being a poor port.

They'd have to find a publisher willing to finance that. Or maybe they simply don't want to work on multi plat games and prefer to work with 1st party studios like Microsoft and Nintendo. 

That might be all there is to it. 

To be honest if this game is for the Wii U/Nintendo, it's probably was greenlit before Bayonetta 2 even came out. 

Yes, you should really believe that, the only other game that definitely does interest me is Zelda U and who knows how far off that title is, I'm somewhat interested in XCX and SMTxFE as well, but there are things that bug me about both of those.

Honestly if this is such a big issue, you could just buy a Wii U and Bayonetta 2 and then return the Wii U once you beat the game and sell or trade in Bayonetta 2. It's not that difficult. 

PG expressed interest in being second party, they have developed a close relationship with Nintendo as they like their development process something Monolith have express positive views on as well.

I'd like to see Vanquish return although W102 would be a God send.

I can also just not play Bayo 2, I think I'll survive. I'm generally always pretty tight on money, being a student and all, so I don't have the money for stunts like that.

What a wasted opportunity if it's again a Wii U exclusive. Considering the number of Wii U consoles sold and the fact that most Wii U owners won't even buy it.
