And why the obsession with selling a little above DC, which were a total lame job outside of hw and some games? It was sega swan song and beating it is meaningless even more for a company dropping 85-90% from previous system numbers.

Because people insist on claiming things like "it won't outsell the Dreamcast" or "it's had twice as long on the market as the Dreamcast and hasn't sold as much", which are provably incorrect.

People have claimed it would win the generation, that it would sell 15M+ first year and a lot other claims... do we bring it all the time to mock the WiiU? Nope, so why keep going after DC?

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Ask the people who keeping bringing it up; the ones who claim stuff like "Wii U won't even outsell DC". It's not the pro-Nintendo crowd who keep bringing it up.

And does it need answering the people bringing it all the time? Or endless discussion about minute things to prove or disprove that WiiU have consistently sold better or worse than a dead console?

If I see a false statement being made, I'm going to correct it, that's all.

And keep bickering forever on a pointless argument?? WiiU even selling slower than DC have more healthy sales and is (at least for nintendo) a viable and profitable platform, something DC didn't manage.... so you could just ignore the guy... because you were just discussing the interpretation of "almost double the time''... will it make a difference in the end if someone defines WiiU taking "double the time" to outsell DC? There are people that it isn't worth using your time to convince.

Sometimes I enjoy a discussion even if I know the other party won't change their mind.

It's still doing better than the Vita. That's gotta count for something.
