All i am asking is atleast be constructive in your argument or stoping beating around by assuming whatever I said is a filament of my "Vague" Imagination. whatever I said was published by Nomora and his team. And do you even know how movies and narrative driven games promotional pitch works? you are introduced to the characters, then the plot. And they do it by releasing teasers and trailers to peak the interest of potential audience. Even to tone it down further for you to understand, how about this, creators of jurrasic world, comes out and say we are excluding the new dinosaur coz its not fitting into story of the movie... would that be ok for you?? also remember we dont know anything about the new dinosaur, only that he is will be one of the antogonist.

if you go on defending and i know what will be your answer, just remember. Stella was opposite to noctis, was the first enemy introduced and has been described by Nojima as an unfortunate enemy to the prince.

Promotional Pitch Material : While the two are very fond of each other, their circumstances dictate that they can't be friends. Instead, the two square off as enemies, even though they wish this were not the case. Perhaps they can resolve their differences throughout the duration of the story.

So Stella was only antogonist introduced in versus.

On a side note: one of my friend who is a huge final fantasy nerd just told me this, that he believes stella is still there but she is been split into two, one is Luna, noctis love interest other might be the antogonist version of stella, and they might be twins thats why the similarity.. and he came up with this theory after watching the latest interview, were developer denied to comment on if stella is dead.. they kept insisting they have introduced the new character just coz the vision for stella didnt fit into the story. (would be cool if true) but why would they hide it.

coming back to topic.. there were many other reasons as to why ffvsXIII is dead. Battle system, character switching, combat system, most of battle inside the insomnia city have been gone. since the demo released or Tabata took over the driver seat. Stella exclusion and medling with the story was the final nail in the coffin

P.S. If it was the Last Guardian instead of versus, then i would have agreed with your argument.

I don't see how this is surprising. The game has been in developmental hell for 7+ years. It would be somewhat naive to think it could completely retain its original vision after so long. This was honestly to be expected.

dont know what you guys were hyped for coz the things which were worth getting hyped for are all but gone. I assume you guys were equally hyped for Lightning returns too.

I do not get your first sentence. Sorry there are words in there that needs to be corrected to form a coherent sentence. Anyway, I wasn't just talking about your "imagination" I'm talking about details released by Square. They are vague and are just meant for first impressions of the character Stella, not something that would explain who she is and most importantly what she really is meant to do.  Please stop underedtimating other people just because you have different opinions. For someone who cliams to know more about promotional tactics, you seem to be forgeting what a teaser, a trailer and what introductions mean. They are never used to completely tell you about anything. That's the entire reason they're called teasers or trailers. They are purely meant to, like you said, introduce you to something, and not tell you everything.  Also i fail to understand your example for Jurassic World. They are not even one bit similar. I think this is where you are confused. Versus XIII and everything released for it are mere footages of an unfinished and barely explained product. Jurassic World(the final version they are showing) on the other hand shows glimpses of a complete story with an important character that is vital to the whole film, as in without it the film would never work.  If they showed a trailer of the first concept of Jurassic World then sure that could be something similar to Versus and Stella. FYI, on of the very first concept done for Jurassic World they planned to have a human-dino hybrid as opposed to the Indominus rex. Now if they would have taken that out(the human dino hybrid) then that would be the Stella of Jurassic World. 

Also Stella was seemingly the first antagonist introduced in Versus but she is not the only one. Have you forgotten the female Dragoon and the hooded conjurer of swords? The hooded character was shown exactly  the same time as Stella. 

For theories on Stella's exclusion, I am thinking that Luna might be the exact same character as Stella but instead of having a conflict with Noctis(which I'm pretty sure would have not lasted long in versus anyway) Tabata most likely removed the said conflict and made her character purely on Noctis' side. Luna will most likely have the same powers as Stella. Also remember the bonus scene shown in Episode Duscae? They mention both Noctis and Lunafreya dead, as in they found their dead bodies. Now purely based on the images shown with this, how could that be when Luna herself is shown walking away from the city?So there must be another body found that looks exactly like Luna. Unless of course that is not Luna they showed.

Anyway, I still see much of versus in XV, even in the battle system. Character switching is an unfortunate exclusion and some of what Tabata mentioned that is impossible for them to make sounded more like a lazy excuse than a legitimate reason. 

Come  on Nem, you can do better then this.     Trailer ??? really??? Trailer???    We are discussing about games,  not some  trailers  and also we still don't know the trailer running on PS3 or not.

For  now it's better we grateful that the games finally able to release. Have you play FF VS13 before or have you play FF XV as well ??? If the answer is no, then it's a pointless debate. We can hold the the discussion 3 years or 2 years from now.

Honestly, I think you guys are more annoyed that the game "strayed from Nomura's vision" than anything was changed. As far as I can see the game has got better gameplay, with much of the same story theme since it became FFXV. And yes, I was hyped for the game since I first knew of its announcement. It was one of the reasons why I bought a PS3 in 2007.

Hard to take an "article" (really, it reads more like a forum post) seriously when they have easy errors like mislabeling characters.

Maybe Nomura eventually pulls/is pulled on a "Hideo Kojima" and goes work his idea somewhere else.

And then Square sues him back for rights to the original material claiming is theirs and then they spend months in court until the Californian earthquake happens and Japan sinks in the ocean and everyone in Japan unfortunately dies and then the end.

Nomura can join Sakaguchi and they can make an excellent game together. :)
