it doesn't?
MS was flooding the market with free GamePass codes. They can be bought for sub $2 from key sellers. Making them stackable would lead to huge revenue losses.

OK, so I figured out what was going on with the audio, my console was set to 7.1 despite the fact that I only have stereo speakers.

I had this happen to me before.

Well I can say I did not experience any framerate drops or none that I can say effect gameplay. I also did not experience any visual artifacts but with all things graphical your mileage may vary. Since I have played just about every visual graphical show piece game from MS and Sony on my set, I was very impressed with how good QB looked and believe it has one of the best lighting engine out there. At least on the One X their AA looked very sharp and the image was clear so not sure if they patch the game or not. I have had it since release and never got around to playing it until now. |
Hopefully it was a case of that I got into it early before things were patched. I'll give the game another go when I have some free time, so cheers. :)

Man, I've been playing The Crew 2 beta.....and this might be the first game this gen to actually give Forza Horizon a run for it's money, in my opinion. Let's see how well this performs.
Bet with Intrinsic:
The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.
Played the Crew 2 beta and didn't really like it. The content is solid and pretty fun to play but the world kills the immersion. Like I tried coming to New York and couldn't even find mets stadium, Yankee stadium. Also lots of parts of time square look nothing like the actual time square.
When I tried to run people over the animations we're so weird.
Another thing I didn't like was that when I hit things with a car the car literally took no damage.
There are other things I didn't like about that I can go on about. It sucks I didn't like it because I was looking for something to play until FH4. Might buy No Man's Sky when it comes to Xbox to hold me off.
So I had the time to test two of the games from the Free Play Days.
7 Days to Die.
Wow what a horrible game. The reviews are definitely right on this one. On a technical level, this game looks worse than any 360 game. Serious bugs on top of that and a game that just isn't fun to play. I just did some of the basics and honestly wouldn't want to play any further. Didn't manage to kill even one zombie. Various traps didn't do much and the wooden club does 0 damage. No idea how to kill one of them, but surely not possible in the early parts of the game. You'd probably need to craft some serious shit.
3/10
Killing Floor 2
Pretty fun and IMO a good bit better than the first, which didn't really impress me back in the days. You've got some creative enemy types and bosses, lots of guns to chose from and truly excellent maps. I was playing a few rounds and I have to say this game is not easy, even on the lowest difficulty. You definitely need a few capable teammates or else you're not gonna beat the boss. Obviously a lot of newbies were playing with me and you could tell that most had no clue what they were doing (not unlike myself in the first match). Still, it's a bit same-ish and I only played around 5 matches.
7.5/10

The class perks make a massive difference, Once you get the level 10/15 perks along with the % bonuses you gain per level normal becomes a walk in the park, Hell on Earth is another level thou and becomes really challenging even at max levels as Zed's get more skills as you increase in difficulty along with speed, health and damage. It's a fun game overall and I do play it now and again on PC, maybe I should try it on Xbox whilst it's free :D
Crew 2 beta was definitely fun but it's a very shallow experience. The car physics are meh at best and doesn't really make one car feel different than the other, it doesn't feel as weighty either. I hate the fact that the races have so many jumps, it really throws me off and does not damage the car at all. There is something really weird about the physics like falling feels weird as hell, you just fall straight down and also zero damage. Collision physics are ripped straight from Pinball, you bounce around instead of actually dashing something or you skate, no feeling of suspension either. And honestly, wall riding? It is FASTER than turning and sticking to a driving line, that's actually horrible.
I don't think anyone will play with planes because goddamn is that so boring, puts me to sleep, it's so slow and honestly just isn't fun at all. Boats are kinda cool just because of the environments, look pretty. Cars are alright but they feel too samey and do very little beyond speed to differentiate themselves from the other feel like GTA cars. Basically one is fast and the other is slow.
Decent visuals but it's no Horizon 3 that's for sure or even a Horizon 2, it's above average. And honestly, the music is horrible. I don't see this even coming close to Horizon, it lacks depth and has some really questionable things in it that really hurt the game. If wall riding isn't fixed before full release, it's definitely going to be a joke of a game. It's dumb fun, something like Asphalt but as a console racer, it's severely outmatched by Forza Horizon 2/3 and 4 is probably going to take the open world racer to new heights yet again.

Shadow of War is really good without all the microtransaction bullshit they have now removed.
If they hadn't included it in the first place the game would likely be an 8.5-9.
