I wonder if the V is an hint to the setting, Maybe Vietnam? or since it's labelled as 5 maybe back to a more modern setting.

Also noticed both Mixer and Major Nelson retweeted it as soon as it wen't up so could mean MS marketing deal.

It could be Vietnam, but I have a feeling it is the Korean War. They are teasing that it's a setting that the Battlefield series has never done before. So far they've done:

WW1- Battlefield 1

WW2 Western Theater- Battlefield 1942

WW2 Eastern Theater- Battlefield 1943

Vietnam- Battlefield Vietnam

Modern- Battlefield 2, 3, 4

Near Future- Battlefield Bad Company 1 and 2

Far Future- Battlefield 2142

Hmm could well be, I'd be quite interested in a campaign in the Korean war setting actually.

BF5 is WW2 according to leaks.

So, Borderlands 3 won't be at E3. So much for that rumor.

Eh, too early to say that. Randy Pitchford, the head of Gearbox, is well known for being duplicitous and misleading. It's likely that he is using a technicality to try and cover up the fact that the Walmart Canada leak, already proven true by Rage 2, leaked Borderlands 3. Most likely it's not actually called Borderlands 3, there have been rumors for some time that it's a shared world shooter like Destiny with multiple planets called Borderworlds.

We also can't forget that 2K's financial report listed a huge unannounced game releasing before April 2019, and it's not a 2K sports game, while Bioshock 4 development was troubled and only recently restarted at a new 2K studio in Marin, California.

Take 2 just released their financial report an hr ago. Their new AAA unannounced game got delayed into the following fiscal year. So April 2019- April 2020.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

Preloaded State of Decay 2. It says the UE gives you SoD1... do they unlock it with the sequel? Seems dumb, why would I play the first when the second one releases.

Hmmm, what do you guys think, could MS have revived it after the Xbox budget went up recently? You know, the original work was most likely backed up and saved somewhere, if it was, the game could be fairly close to release if it was revived.

Edit: Aaron Greenburg is now saying it's an old page that was never taken down. I find that suspicious for sure, mainly because it took somebody more than q year to find this "old" page. Definitely seems like they revived it recently and somebody on the web team accidentally relisted the page before the announce at E3.

Posted that tweet a while back, weird for him to acknowledge Scalebound and Xbox this close to E3 but then again he is a troll. My pipe dream is that MS revived Scalebound and greenlit Vanquish like that baseless rumor. It's not to late to salvage Scalebound since a ton of work was done on it already, Platinum would also be the perfect studio to reboot PhantomDust for the future.

As for the page it was never taken down and someone on Resetera said that they have not even taken down Fable Legends page yet so it could mean nothing, which would suck since we will probably be the only console this gen to not have a Platinum Exclusive.

No, Grounding Inc would be the perfect studio for it because that's where the creator of the original is. Also Platinum is more suited for fast-action games and not for something like PD.

Grounding does have the talent or staff to make a AAA Phantom Dust reboot, yes they can always hire but Platinum has two teams that can pump AAA quality games in 2 years time. A collab would be perfect though.

OMG PLZ MS, I'm begging you Phil give it another chance!

TDLR, Kamiya defends MS in a tweet and says he is always open to work with MS again.

I hope Microsoft spend tge money on something better.

Why don't companies wait 2-3 weeks to reveal their games? With each reveal, E3 is becoming less and less interesting.
