One of the main things that I would want out of the next Halo is more intelligent Alien species that rival the Elites and Brutes or monster aliens enemy's like the Guta from Reach but more dangerous and less bullet spongey.
I've read the Broken Empire books by Mark Lawrence and enjoyed them, Not read his Dark Tide short story though, I will check it out some time.

Fantastic detective work dude, I would actually prefer it to be this instead of Perfect Dark Reboot. Reasons being that we would get a potentially new 1st Party AAA/AA game by one of Microsoft's biggest studios and Perfect Dark can always be made anytime.
The Coalition must be over 200 employees by now they could have put an 80 man team on this game and that would be enough to make a AAA quality game and have a good bulk left over working on Gears 5 a game that I don't see coming out till 2020.
edit: also the short length of the story doesn't mean that the game can't be long, the story is only being used as a basis they could always expand upon it.

It seems that MS right now don't have a game for Summer 2018. So I think it would be better to delay Crackdown 3 to Summer because it needs a lot of work and release SoD2 and SoT in Spring. Fixed Crackdown 3 also can have a proper showing at E3 with surprise announcement that it releases very soon after E3.

Probably they will launch it around the time Halo 6 comes out to create additional marketing.
I really hope Perfect Dark is still on. I really want a reboot with a non spy Joanna Dark looking like the girl in that picture with the different characters...

If they make the artstyle better, I definitely want a teen, grizzled seventeen year old Joanna as the protagonist of a reboot. Rather than being an spy, she's a normal girl embroiled in an spy plot and having to become one... Could even set things up for future games...
And naturally, change the heels for boots. I also just noticed this particular pic was probably for a dancing game, given the gear they rock...

Sjeez some people, I turned my xone and saw on the achievements Lazyblackgamer with + 14.000 achievements score in less than a week =p. That's possible more than I had last year.

Definitely possible if you have some time and a dozen of easy completions.
Looking at his games, he played about 4-5 hours every day.
Why would MS have two different studios working on Fable? MechWarriors as an online F2P game is more likely.
