I won't be surprised if Xbox loses November npd with only 150-200k X's being sold. Seams extremely undersold.

I'm doubtful they will sell that few. There were enough Scorpio editions sold in 3 hours on Amazon for it to outsell PS4 Pro for the whole year, even months after it sold out Scorpio edition is still #68 on Amazon's yearly charts. Surely Scorpio edition alone sold 300k+ in the US then. Standard edition was seriously understocked on Amazon (it sold out in one day, and didn't sell enough during that day to make the top 100 for the year) but that seems to be because Gamestop bought most of the stock so they could make overpriced custom bundles for it (they did the same with Switch earlier this year). If you look on Gamestop's website, you'll see that every single Xbox One X SKU is still in stock 2 weeks later, and all of them are still in the top 20 there (and all of them ahead of the highest PS4 SKU). It's also still in stock on Best Buy's website. X will surely sell at least 500k on November NPD, probably more.

I agree though that there should have been more stock. They could have easily sold 1m+ X's in November in the US and 100k+ in the UK if they had made enough stock to meet demand.

I meant under stocked. Anyway I hope ur right. It's hard for me to say how many x's are available out there. Seamed like a fine number of Scorpio's but low amount of standards. But like you said seams like GameStop just wanted them all for themselves. Obviously I'm hoping your right and it gets 500k in November. It will probably need a amount around that to win November npd because Sony has better games to put in bundles.

ya I think 500k would be great. But I'm keeping my expectations lower at around 200k. They really need x to do good though.

500K for the X console just in the USA on November alone? That's huge imo, I think the Pro manage to sell about that same amount during November and December, in the US of course. I hope that happens :)

Proud to be a Californian.

Wasn't the pro about 500k combined for November and December npd. Or was it 500k in each month.

Always ugly to leave this thread to another one when an Xbox exclusive released^^ it's like 20 threads popping up at the same time trying to find bad things about it.

People thinks Forza is the type of franchise that sells millions of units on its first week. It isn't unfortunately. At tge peak of Xbox popularity, the third and the forth Motorsport games wouldn't reach 3 million without the help of being main console bundles during the biggest time of the year. And that without Horizon stealing some of the customers.

It still sells 2 million units per game which should be good for Microsoft. I believe the main reasons for decline compared to the third and forth is the strength of the platform and the growth of Horizon.

Wait till people see NPD report and they pretend that Motorsport 6 shattered the records two years ago while in reality it didn't chart.

The decline in UK is mostly due to more people shiftting to digital. Overall units (physical +digital) will be down 5-10% which we caan say consider flat.

So I'm replaying Child of Light on X1 after having finished it on 360 when it launched.
I'm almost through the game and now got an achievement glitch on me. Fuck this game for not having manual saves. I certainly won't invest 6 hours just to get to this part again. One less game to 100% finish.

EDIT: Deleted the local save and restarted the game. Achievement unlocked on main menu. Funny because the achievement was not in the "Done Unlocking" state.

How much Xbox One sold in US in November last year. It seems that 1m units in US for a 500$ console is impossible for Xbox console right now.

I want a Christmas beta for 6. Not areana. I fully trust them there. Just add more content at launch and support btb. What I want is much improved warzone 2.0 beta. That's where they could excite people again. I'm imagining a more traditional warzone with pelicans and scarabs even. But my real hope is in something like a pubg style game with odst dropping into a city or a halo ring. It doesn't have to be that but it needs to excite. And while I appreciated their attempt in warzone I think there is way more potential.

That would be fucking amazing and probably sadly never happen

Maybe next gen....Scarabs on MP would be great but we don't even have Pelicans yet

I think warzone was a great first attempt at something bigger or different. One thing that could help in this regard is Microsofts agenda to turn everything into service games. Pushing those micro transactions. Even more so with 6 since it will be available to a bigger audience. I think ms realizes that there isn't much room for that in traditional areana. Only thing they could do in that area is push cosmetics. But in order for them to really push this game as a service they need something completely separate and I believe that's why warzone started. Ms today will likely push even harder for that than they did in early guardians development. That's why I think whatever warzone 2.0 is it's going to be grand.

Of course it's possible they go the bungie rout and do the service stuff via campaign and co-op. But that's much harder and an area 343 hasn't pushed towards before. I think warzone already half way there so it would be much easier to turn it into a pubg similar experience than for them to completely rip apart campaign/firefight and give us a destiny clone.

I missed that. It would have been Shadow of War before the microtransactions, but now definitely New Colossus. The last two games were top notch.
