They are super fun with friends, some of the best fun you can have with games. I agree that they are boring alone, though.

Mario Kart is very popular. I think if MS does something like this it will have nice sales as well

Jokes aside, I prefer single player/campaign in most games, so it's not my cup of tea. Got the SNES mini recently, and in my opinion Mario Kart is the most boring game on there. I understand the appeal for people who have actual friends to play it with, though.

Yay weekend and the living room fuse has blown, destroying my Xbox One power supply in the process.

Since I'm getting the X1X within the next 6 months, I'm not going to shell out 60€ for a new, official one. 30€ for the third party power supply is already enough. Hopefully my current Xbox is still working....

Hopefully it's just the power supply and nothing blew in the console itself and it will hold out until you get the X :), If it was a Xbox One S with the internal supply it would of killed off the console so the external power supply can have it's perks :)

Indeed. Also the console is just 3 months past the warranty period. Sucks but could've been worse.
