In terms of just pure fun I'd say I'd have more fun with Crackdown, the story will obviously go to AC Origins, not sure what to vote for ATM but looking at the previous pages makes me want to vote for Crackdown more Despite you not liking the setting, it was hinted in assassins creed rogue that eventually we would have an assassins creed in Egypt because a certain object needed to be found. It was recovered and brought to either England or Germany (I forgot which one). No offense to syndicate which was great but Egypt is a highly anticipated setting for actual ac fans who follow the story. The saturation from November launches will cause some to get price cuts. Im betting crackdown will get the same treatment as halo wars where it's half price not far after launch.

The story of AC games is all over the place. It has always to do with either the Templars or Assassins getting an Apple of Eden. Other than that there is barely a connection between the games. That used to be the present time line, which wasn't very popular.

AC games have been all over the place because Desmond is dead. Egypt is important because the resurrection technology is over there. I wonder what they are going to use it for. Hrmmmmmm? In rogue they said the tech was found and brought over to Europe. If they can sort through the Egyptian memories they can get it and possibly use it. In the comics it was revealed that Desmond has a son and he happens to be a sage. If you played black flag you know what a sage is. This could have something to do with Desmond and his son. It seems I Ubisoft has decided to stop screwing around with the locations just to milk it and are focusing on core locations for the story.

Japan is nice scenery and a great culture, but would not be appropriate for any origins story on a world scale. For any origins story  worth its salt they have to start in the North African/middle eastern territory. I mean... even in the Bible these were the regions which were key to the story.  Heh

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I now have a TV next to my bed, with a PS2 and OG Xbox connected to it!! So I guess I'll be playing more Xbox!

Yeah pretty much lol. I'll still buy it though, but I'm more hyped for Agents of Mayhem than Crackdown
