2M is already very high and almost impossible. 4M? No way!

I don't think so. It could get there though if Nintendo really push this game.

Mario Kart 8 have actually 55% of attach rate. 5.11m on 9.54m WU. And the attach rate is currently INCREASE, not decrease... and the last quarter, MK8 have ship as well like the WU. Both was at 340,000 shipped.

I don't think will increase again, maybe can decrease, but i think more than half of who have WU will buy MK8. Just what i think.

I predict 19,000,000 WU and 10,000,000 Mario Kart 8.

And if i can, 10,000,000 is waaaaaaaaaaay more realistic than 7,000,000 like other user predict.

Darn it. Forgot the magical price cut that will push it over 30m. I take back everything I said, if you forgive me, senpai.

WU will not sell 35,000,000 lifetime and Mario Kart 8 will not sell 15,000,000.

4 million is beyond madness, that's MK and Smash level sales. With each passing hour, these lifetime predictions are getting more and more crazy, I think we need to be a bit more reasonable.
Shaking the 2 million figure in the air is somewhat grounded in a possible reality; 4 million is flat-out ludicrous in my opinion.

you guys.. please stop with these high hopes for Splatoon. yes, nintendo is actually advertising the damn thing which is great, but be realistic. itll be lucky to reach one million (excluding bundles). there are 10 million wii u's out there. i think a 10% attach ratio would be very good, but youd be crazy to think 50% is in the realm of possibility.

Not in its current state (lacking content) and probably just no in general. If Nintendo starts bundling it with every Wii U then sure...

I think 3m is the roof for the title. 

2-2.5 million seems more likely if you ask me! 4 million simply doesn't seem possible.

Also I've seen a lot of people putting emphasis on the advertising, as if the Wii U's audience is sprawling with uninformed, casual gamers who just need a nudge. I don't think it will make much of difference to be honest, Nintendo fans know what they want.

Maybe it would open up a newer market for them, but we'll have to wait for hardware numbers to determine that.  MArio Kart 8+Splatoon Bundle would have been great for the summer.
