Yikes, my PS4 will continue to go unused outside of Bloodborne (a moneyhatted 3rd party title) the rest of the year it seems.
What is Killstrain?

Well you have to stop changing the rules to fit your argument, if we are talking big games only then sony will have release 1 good (Bloodbourne) and 1 bad (The Order) for the entire year. MSFT will have had 3, Halo 5, ROTR, and Forza 6. If we including all games, then how can you say XB1 only focuses on holiday, when Ori and the Blind Forest, Screamride, and State of Decay has been releeased. |
When have I changed any of my rules? O_o
Are you confused a little or something? Because i'm not the one going into every thread just to downplay games and console makers.

BB was co-developed with Japan Studio, no? The Order was also partly developed in-house, I believe. Until Dawn definitely so. SSM has been helping a lot. |
Yeah I guess there's help in some sort of capacity but it's not a strange practice. People say that MS are helping development with Tomb Raider and that's timed.

I don't like the downplaying on either side but the number of releases a console has does not equate quality. This was true with XBLA and it is true with a lot of releases today. Btw, PS4 is dominating sales, it is only logical that it will be more heavily watched and criticized. |
while its true that Quantity doesnt equal Quality, we cant pretend that by having Quantity we are bound to get a majority of bad games, i at least can attest to the quality of some of the games in the list since they have either proven themselves with previous entries or i have already played them.
here i am hoping that the games turn out great, especially the ones im interested in.

That makes sense. Out of the 3 games which IPs do Sony own? The Order and Until Dawn maybe?

I didn't care about indies when 360 had thousands and I don't care about them now that sony buys exclusivity to every indie in sight. I bet these same people touting indies now, did not want to do the whole listing of indie games last gen. Sony is a little light on the big games, so lets tout phone games. |
Even without a single console exclusive for PS4 (but still counting the indies for XBOne), the count is still 43 to 27. No matter how you spin it, PS4 has more games than XBOne.
Yes, you are salty.

Why should we only care about the holiday period? Isn't the rest of the year just as important? Or do you think gamers only play during the holiday period? |
this!!! are people really falling for this "pre-season" notion? or just discount titles that don't have a "AAA" budget, indie, or name/studio recognition?

*Subjective.
**You can't say a game is good if it hasn't released.

yes it is coming out this year, the list is missing it.
