At what point do you consider it second party? If it's a question of funding or who own the IP, we know very little about it. Or is it when a game is exclusive and published by Sony/MS? If that's the case, would RotTR be considered second party even though it is timed exclusive. Would it be classed as second party if they plan of bringing it to other consoles and we weren't aware of it. Or is it when a developer only releases for one platform? If thats the case then none of those 3 are really strictly second party.

Didn't how to class it so just left it at third party lol

What does that mean?

People keep saying PS4 is dominating due to hype and not because it deserves it. Well, here you have a list of games where PS4 utterly dominates, so in the future people can just look at this list before claiming PS4 doesn't deserve the sales.

I don't like the downplaying on either side but the number of releases a console has does not equate quality. This was true with XBLA and it is true with a lot of releases today. Btw, PS4 is dominating sales, it is only logical that it will be more heavily watched and criticized.

This thread is just a response to the constant downplay the PS4 gets left and right by [mostly] the XBox crowd. This wouldn't need to exist if those people would just enjoy their favourite console without feeling the need to crap on the competiton just for kicks. 

I find it to be a weird solution to then downplay the number of exclusives on X1. Then you must think it is ok to downplay a console based on its releases, or you wouldn't have made the thread? My suggestion would be not to care so much about people trying to downplay PS4. I you love the console it should be enough.


I didn't make the thread. And making a list of both sides put things in perspective. 

You care as well about this, considering your first reactional comment on here. So I would suggest you follow your own advice.

But I totally agree with your last sentence.

You need to gauge it against something, X1 is its competition. I really didn't know the outcome of the totals when I started the thread.

If you want to count them then yes. X1 app games vrs PS app games and the X1 will win hands down.

Well you have to stop changing the rules to fit your argument, if we are talking big games only then sony will have release 1 good (Bloodbourne) and 1 bad (The Order) for the entire year. MSFT will have had 3, Halo 5, ROTR, and Forza 6.

If we are including all games, then how can you say MSFT only focuses on holiday, when, Neverwinter, Ori and the Blind Forest, Screamride, and State of Decay have been releeased.
