Cinema ads for Mad Max and Tomorrowland? That's pretty freaking awesome.

It clearly that Nintendo wants Splatoon to be next big franchise, and have very good potential, it's very fun and good looking game, and now have great marketing.

They have Mario Kart and Smash Bros. for driving and fighting genre, and now they will have Splatoon for shooter gener.

It's not a game that appeals to me at all on face value but I certainly hope its a huge seller, I'll be keen to try the demo to see what the fuss is about. I hope they keep most of their marketing budget back for Xenoblade Chronicles X and Zelda U though. Xenoblade needs to be seen by as wide an audience as possible if Nintendo want to sell hardware. In fact some pre-launch teasers even now wouldn't be a bad idea.
