For a game with a budget of 15 million, you bet your ass 7-8 million will make them happy.

I hope it means they'll up their stakes and Cyberpunk 2077 won't take another 4 years of development.

I'm guessing that at least 100 of Witcher 3's 250 developers will be transferred over to Cyberpunk's team in the coming weeks, with the remaining team staying behind to patch bugs and develop Witcher 3's expansions and DLC. Considering the fact that there has been a team of unsepcified size working on Cyberpunk since 2012, I'm guessing they could have it ready for release as early as Holiday 2016. After that, who knows, maybe Witcher 4? They've said that Witcher 3 is Geralt's last tale, but they've never said that more Witcher games wouldn't be made. A design document for Witcher 3 leaked last year that claimed Witcher 4 was planned. Maybe Ciri will undergo Witcher mutations between 3 and 4 (she already has Witcher training) and will become the protagonist of Witcher 4?

I hope you're right on both accounts haha. Would love to have 2077 next year and Ciri on Witcher 4.

It does seem like Witcher 4 is planned though, without Geralt:

So Ciri makes sense as the new protagonist, she's already playable in Witcher 3, she already has Witcher training (though not Witcher mutations, but there's nothing stopping her from undergoing them between 3 and 4). That's of course assuming that she survives the events of Witcher 3 (they'd better not kill her, lol).

Yeah, they always said that this would be the last chapter of Geralt's story, I figured they'd want to keep making games set in the same universe. The lore and setting are actually really good; there is a lot material to work with here and dozens of interesting characters to portray besides Geralt.

I predict a first week of more than 1.5 million. I know it's bold, but that's my prediction.

This is such great news and much deserved. With the great reviews and the hype behind in from the players word of mouth I expect it to have an altogether strong first month. With Steam Sales eventually one day getting the price of the game around $10-20 I believe 8-9 million is likely.

Completly undeserved, they fooled everyone with their downgrades

I'm just about to finish a game and looking for the next one. I can't decide between Witcher and Bloodborne, which too get first. I'm leaning towards W3 because I like that style better and grabbing BB when it's $20. What do you think? Thanks.
