Not saying you aren't a Nintendo fan and I don't think anyone is taking this offensively: they are just telling you that you're wrong. If you wanted to talk about the lack of games (in your opinion), you should have just made a thread about that, not one that is titled "The 3DS is dead?".

But I wasn't interested in asking whether there was a lack of games for the 3DS because I know there is (at the very least relatively). I was interested in asking whether the lack of games was terminal and perhaps permanent at this stage. I certainly don't mind being told I'm wrong and I hardly expected everyone to agree with me, I just wanted to see what other Nintendo fans have to say on the matter.

When a guy says that I apparently made this thread just to "piss people off" then I'd say they are taking it offensively, and to those people that are, I'd suggest you become less easily offended.

Bravely Second and Project X Zone 2 is on the horizon.

So no its not dead.

Not dead but declining, and not surprising given it's over four years from launch in a portable market that has massively contracted.

There's the Animal Crossing spin-off and Fire Emblem from Nintendo, a bunch of Japanese games that could get localised and E3 is taking place next month. I wouldn't be surprised if we see one or two more New 3DS exclusives, something like The Last Story 3D, for example. I'd also hope for more announcements from Nintendo themselves.

As others have pointed out, software support for 3DS has remained fairly strong so far this year anyway, and with E3 around the corner, it's not surprising there are blank spots on the calendar. I think 3DS will have a decent 12 months from this E3 to next E3, after that we'll see software support really dry up.

I agree that the 3DS has had better support than Wii U this year up to now. However, now that's over, there's a very serious lack of upcoming games for the system. That's my point.

Never try to judge support for Nintendo's system in the latter half of a year based on what you know prior to E3 of that year. Nintendo like to keep their cards close to their chest until E3.

Is nobody else but me expecting a second original handheld Zelda?

Not really. ALBW was amazing, but it didn't do as well as the remakes of the 64 twins. I would like to see an original 3D handheld Zelda, but I don't want them oversaturating the franchise. There's been a lot of Zelda this gen. Better wait one gen to get new ideas.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

It sold more than in 2012 and in 2013...............

No, it really isnt.

I'm looking forward to:
Fire emblem if
Project X zone 2

Looking out for:
Bravely second
Dragon quest 8

Those are just the game's i'm interested in. I'm sure there is more and Nintendo will reveal more stuff soon. They just launched a new model, they are giving it up. Its also quite likely a new pokemon gen will come out tis year or the next.

If this is about sales, then i point you to the fact that its outselling the X1. If the 3DS is dead, everything but the PS4 is dead.
