No, your statement isn't exactly correct. PSVita cannot play every PS3/PS4 game.

Also your statement is like Nintendo playing a lot of games from past consoles.  Nes, Snes, N64, Sega Master System, Gamecube, Genesis, Neo Geo etc


It will play the most and most important PS3/PS4 games.

If you want to pull the numbers game. Vita has 113 75+ rated (good) games while Wii U has 85. So bout 40% more good games on Vita if you're going to use metacritic? Or do people only play games that score 90% and above? They'd be a bit buggered with that Mario Kart DLC, as the base game "only" got 88.

If we go to retail, which the topic states we should, the numbers are something like 50-45 in favor of the Vita.  1 of which is above 90 for the Vita, and 5 of which are above 90 for Wii U.  In terms of 89+ games it's 25-20 in favor of the Wii U.  Which means something like 15 75-79 games for Wii U, and 29 for Vita.

So Vita has an overall slight edge in absolute number of "good" games, but the Wii U has an edge in "great" games and a 5 times as many "amazing" games.

Your statement was for now, seriously Dr Vita you are better than this. Don't trust into one of those fans that goes on hypoticals future situation, namely in your thread that you started with retail library.
