Have either of you even played Tearaway? It uses the Vita front touch screen, rear touch pad, built in microphone, plus the front and rear facing camera not only has forms of controls but also as part of the story. PS4 doesn't have any of these standard with the console. And to make things worse the whole point of the game is that you are holding Iota's whole world in the palm of your hands looking down on it like a God, manipulating it using the before mentioned controls. You can't replicate that on PS4.

Hence why I said it is best to dismiss Smash with the same logic, not every game.
