Forums - Gaming Discussion - Which console have better games: PS Vita or Wii U? (only Retail)

Dr.Vita, really!? :)

What's with all this Vita/Wii U comparisons?

Vita will be remembered like a successor of best Sony handheld console and probably Sony last handheld console.
Wii U will be remembered like worst selling Nintendo console without third party support, but console with one of the best librarie of Nintendo games ever.

For me Wii U have better games.

Nintendo fans- Wii U

For me, right now I'd say Vita, by the end of the year Wii U.

I'm a Sony fan but I still find the Wii U's library waaaay more appealing...

If you prefer JRPG, Sports games, Racing games, and FPS, Vita has better options. If you like Nintendo games, well, the Vita doesn't really have too many of them :p

JRPGs and sports, OK.  Racing and FPS..tied or Wii U leads.

Mario Kart 8 doesn't off set WRC4, Moto GP 2014, MXGP, WipeOut 2048 etc.

Strangers Wrath and Killzone Mercenary are also better games to me than COD.

Vita wins IMO :)

However, I do love Nintendo's stuff, which is why I have a lot more  Wii U games than PS4 games.

Wii U

and on a side note, the 3ds has a vastly better library than the PS4.

I don't think the 3DS has too much worth playing tbh. I'd say it's the most over-rated system in a while. Lots of GC-lite software that I thought we'd left back in the 6th gen. But I agree it's still better than the PS4s library at the moment.

As for PS Vita vs Wii U. Depends what type of games you prefer. If you prefer JRPG, Sports games, Racing games, and FPS, Vita has better options. If you like Nintendo games, well, the Vita doesn't really have too many of them :p

Well, I'd say you're wrong.

And I'd say it's impossible for my opinion, which has been formed from extensive experience of all the systems (apart from XB1 as I don't have one of them yet) to be wrong for me ;)

Just like I'd also question just how many people who say Vita has no games worth playing have actually played them or are even aware of most of the Vita's library.

Well that obviously wasn't for 100%, more aligned with the majority. And judging by this thread, it seems about right.

But I'd wager you don't actually have much hands on experience with Vita's software lineup. So I'd understand your opinion being formed differently to mine ;)

Well, I can say it is absolutely no surprise the Wii U is going to win this one.
