nonono, you dont understand, repeating the same mission over and over again for the right loot is good game design.

imba new gear in every DLC is good game design.  just run faster in your hamsterball...

As opposed to games like Mario Kart, right? Not repetitive at all! (Now, before I get crucified by the usual suspects, I own and ENJOY MK8 quite a lot. Doesn't change the fact that it is repetitive.).

I don't enjoy that kind of game either (Destiny), but to each their own.

thats not the same. destiny is just badly designed,a grindfest without endgame... not like other mmos.

It's not the same because you like the gameplay in one, but not the other.

There's no endgame in Mario Kart either.

Ofcourse I know of Metroid, but it is only in the last year I have realized how amazing the series is.

Need to draw the line somewhere between mediocre and bad.

I do. My idea of mediocre is more like Drive Club or Nintendoland.

Other M I definitely class under "bad".

nope never heard of it

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

What's Metroid? Is it some fancy metro simulator? It sounds kinda familar to me.

It's one of Nintendo's smaller games, but I was a little surprised to discover that many people have never even heard of Metroid before.

I would like to see what people on this forum think. Have you never heard of Metroid before? Have you heard of it, but don't quite know what it is? Have you heard of it, but have never played it? Or have you played it?

I can't tell if you are trolling or not. It is one of their largest franchies in terms of scope and even popularity. It is under Zelda and Mario and Pokemon but I would rank it as their 4th or 5th best franchies. For me it's is equal with Zelda for number 1 spot!

I've heard of Metroid but never played it, a lot of gamers i know would not have heard of it or be less familiar with it. Its definitely one of the less popular Nintendo franchises, yet seems to be a favorite amongst Nintendo fans.

Also, understand why games like Destiny, Watch dogs and Mario were brought up, but lets just be careful to not stray too far off topic. Thanks.
