Yes, I can blame them. Doing the opposite of what your consumers want and refusing to accept any criticism is idiotic.

So creating a spinoff is going against what the consumers want? So Nintendo should just stick to making 2D and 3D Metroid games and dare not venture further?

They can venture further, but when the result is garbage like this, they will of course be criticized. When your consumers talk, you need to listen. Nintendo's refusal to meet the needs of consumers is why their sales these days are so shit.

The sales of Amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis do attest to that yes. If we're talking in general then theres way more important and much bigger factors at work there.

Yeah, there are definitely other factors at work. But I still think a big part of it is Nintendo's habit in the last few years of actively ignoring consumer input.

Not always though, they ended up releasing Fatal frame V on the west, is like sometimes thye listen, sometimes they dont, and is kind of random so you never know what to expect.

True, they do listen sometimes I suppose. But when they don't, they really don't. (Colour Splash, Federation Force, Amiibo Festival...)

My favorite part of the Direct was Kirby, and it's coming in just three short months! Yeah it's blatantly reusing engine/assets from Triple Deluxe, but that only mean it'll be just as good if not better!

I liked the direct overall, Star Fox and Kirby being my favorite parts. Also Rhythm Heaven, woooh!

I'll give a chance to both Federation Force and Paper Mario, cause why not.

No Detective Pikachu news tho
