As I've said, it's not about the bad conference alone; that was just the catalyst that allowed years of resentment and dissatisfaction to finally boil over.

I get that to an extent.  But worst console ever?  Eh, no.  Not even close.  And worst company ever?  Absolutely not.  The fact people went from praising the Wii U to hating it because of this E3 is mind numbing.  If this conference was representative of the full reality, I would be right there with ya, mostly.  But given the info releases of the past few months, I'm less enraged, more extremely frustrated over their poor presentation.

Oh that "worst console ever" stuff is absolutely ludicrous, I agree.

As pissed as I am, I'm cannot deny the quality of games like Bayonetta 2 and Tropical Freeze.

Yeah you don't unlock them until later, but basically the Jet Squelcher has the longest range of any shooter-type weapon, while E-liter has the longest range of any charger-type weapon. Both have a custom version with the Krakken, a special I'm sure you've seen before!

The aerospray actually takes longer to kill than most shooter type weapons, what with it needing 5 hits. Also, the yolo swim straight in your face can easily be countered by swimming back yourself aswell and then killing them once they're stopped by your ink.

Like I told you before, names mean nothing to me. The long range one, stream is pretty straight, I think the red version has the longest range but has a crappy sub-weapon. Krakken's are easy to evade if you're not right in their face.

Aerospray is a point blank weapon and pretty good at painting too, great for turf wars. Problem is due to it's range you die a lot, specially from rollers. Either way, I got you a few times yesterday with the aerospray? Or was it another weapon?

Yeah, that's all I'm saying.  In the heat of the moment, people are ignoring the numerous good to great games on the system and the good to great games coming out.  The Wii U has a dozen exclusives coming in the next 8 to 10 months, and of those most look good to great.  I get the frustration over the lack of another heavy hitter to go alongside Star Fox and such and the frustration with Metroid (a 2D or 3D main entry) being MIA, but to let that frustration cloud rational judgment is not wise.

On a side note, this is why I don't have much in the way of brand loyalty in the platform wars.  I buy platforms I want when games I want are there.  Whether it's a Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo platform and whether that purchase is at launch or two years into the cycle is all based on content.  Getting invested one way or the other is usually bad for the blood pressure in my experience :P

They also know they are going to get everyone who swears off Nintendo back again next year with Zelda U. Which is why I can't even say it,  I know it's going to happen.... This years E3 though...... Holy cow.....

I'm even sure we are going to get some awesome announcements by the end of the year, but Nintendo needs to learn that E3 is like Christmas, you get one shot to make the year special (and they screwed it up).

Yeah, E3 is a symbolic event.  Nintendo needs to learn consistency.  Even if Zelda and Retro's project are late 2016 titles and Fatal Frame and Devil's Third aren't super mainstream, their presence symbolically strengthens the image of Nintendo and their platforms.  Nintendo seemed to think all the gold directs meant they could skimp out at E3.  Major mistake.

Yeah, it was incredibly surprising given how in touch they seemed to be last year... Here's what the focus should have been, and they would have only had to announce 1 smaller project (but would have made a much better show).

Star Fox, show that thing

Devil's Third, show more of this, the last time most people seen it was last E3 and it looks so much better now than it did

Xenoblade Chronicles X, where the hell was the localized trailer.... Again

Hyrule Warriors 3DS, I love the new characters.... Keep this in

Project Zero (or Fatal Frame) IV and V, yes they should have localized IV worldwide. Would have been such an awesome announcement

Fast Racing Neo, have you seen the way this game looks!!! Holy cow!

Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, another amazing looking game

Fire Emblem IF, looks great and I love the series.

That would have been at least a digital event we could talk about.

@bold ugh, not that thing. I hate it. I guess I'm too careless, I always run into them.

The aerospray needs a lot of hits to kill, but it gets those hits in a ridiculously fast manner, so it actually doesn't take longer than most shooter type weapons at all. And the yolo swim straight in your face counter is kinda hard, not everyone's going to have lightning-quick reactions.

But it does, it's been tested on Squidboards. The fastest to kill is the .52 gal followed by the Blaster then the .96 gal. The Aerospray is only faster than the Rapid Blaster, Jet Squelcher and Dual Squelcher, guns that have the range to make up for it.

It's not "that" fast, though I guess that depends on how close they are, but you can always back up before attacking. In a direct encounter, they only have two options, run away or charge at you, hence you should be expecting it and can even predict their path based on the ink spread. My only problem with this has only been my own bad accuracy. :L

^ Yup, while you are squelching, I get ya with my aerospray. Size doesn't matter, it's what you do with it.

Anyone liked that new weapon? Hate that you have to keep pressing the trigger, and it's such a low range burst of ink and damage.

Of course you can still kill with it, and whut, size isn't even a factor. These are also besides the points I'm making.

I like that you need to keep pressing the trigger, differentiates it from the other weapons giving the weapon line-up as a whole even more variety! Unfortunately (actually fortunately for balance reasons) despite not exactly being rapid fire it's minimal shots to kill can't be reduced, with damage per hit being capped at 33.3.

The "size" thing was just a saying. Obviously having some "size" helps, and by that I mean good weapon specs such as range, damage, etc.

Yesterday evening I tried, I think, the .52 gal for the first time in Turf Wars and I got some kills, but wasn't very effective at painting; I cover more ground with a rapid fire gun. Guess it's better designed ranked, where kills matter more. Same with the Blaster.
