Whats so pitfull for the ps4 and x1?

That there are more remasters than new games.

10 new games (one is dlc) in almost 2 years is not very good.

Most "crossgen" games in these (incomplete) lists are new games, where the 8th gen versions was released the same time as the 7th gen versions. Only a few of the crossgen games were late ports of the 7th gen versions.

Why upgrade your console to play games available on your old console?

That's why I'm waiting for a price cut on the PS4.

The games I want are all new games: TW3, Star Wars Battlefront II, Batman Arkham Knight and R & C reboot.

Why buy inferior versions of games when better versions are released at the same time and you are buying the new console sooner or later anyway? To save 50 bucks while waiting for a price cut?

I'm too busy playing Wii U games to care about the PS4 right now. I don't buy new consoles for old experiences.

I want games that make good use of the hardware.

Judging by some of the reactions around here you'd think original titles are 1:1 ratio with remasters. But nope, its about 10:1.

The strange thing is whenever a cross-gen game gets announced almost everyone complains about it here. But now it's good all of a sudden? Ok.

Godd job on the list but since this about the proportion of all titles to remasters is it really fair to include games that have yet to be released? Would we not also have to include original titles yet to be released in order to get the real ratio?

"crossgen" games can also be "new", so imo you should list games for the 8th gen consoles as "current gen" instead of "new game"

What? I never said anything about cross-gen, I'm not part of the group that was complaining about cross-gen games so why are you implying that I'm ok with it all of a sudden? I was never against it in the first place...

My perspective is that people don't need to think that the industry is in a dire state because of a 10:1 ratio (may not be that high but you get my point) in favor of original titles. A cross-gen game is still an original title.

Diablo 3 is not a remaster on either system. UEE is version 2 including the expansion, and was released on all 4 consoles at the same time. The expansion revamped the whole game, and it is not close to the vanilla version on last gen.
