What's the proportion of original titles, remasters and crossgen games in current gen systems?

Most "crossgen" games in these (incomplete) lists are new games, where the 8th gen versions was released the same time as the 7th gen versions. Only a few of the crossgen games were late ports of the 7th gen versions.

Why upgrade your console to play games available on your old console?

That's why I'm waiting for a price cut on the PS4.

The games I want are all new games: TW3, Star Wars Battlefront II, Batman Arkham Knight and R & C reboot.

Why buy inferior versions of games when better versions are released at the same time and you are buying the new console sooner or later anyway? To save 50 bucks while waiting for a price cut?
