It has enough content as is, we'll be getting the entire package with updates throughout the summer. Not 100% saying its right but obviously they couldn't put the full thing in day 1. If it were paid dlc, then there would be a problem. |
Reviewers don't care what comes later though, what is available day 1 is what is gonna be considered and is what people are gonna hear.

Ok but reviewers dont affect sales as much as you think, i can name many examples where games got high scores yet didn't sell well and the opposite way too.
I think you've had too many tbones. But you should totally make a bet, because bets without crazy odds are lame.

For an unproven IP I think reviews play a much bigger factor than reviews for say AC or GTA or w/e.

Oh-kee-doh-kee! I've had fun with plenty of other shooters, and I'm pretty sure there are a few dozen million others who also have.
Who knows, but something's pretty clear here: it won't do less than 500K either, a quantity that I was originally expecting. There's a push from Nintendo, including ads, showcasing of the game in events, demos, pre-order bonuses, etcetera. For this, I think it should do at least decently.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
