Heh, while I think I didn't post back in this thread I remember initially thinking that Splatoon would probably do quite a bit better than Captain Toad, be a good success with that and reach a million sold before end of the year. I did think 3m was possible but not likely. Boy, was I wrong.
That said, this thread is hilarious in hindsight.

Welp, I was wrong too.
Congratulations to Splatoon on its crazy level of success. It's close to a 30% attach ratio worldwide, and nearly 40% in Japan. That's just bananas.
