Vanquish and Binary Domain. The most underrated Third Person Shooters IMO. I love them.

I think one was Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando. Best impulse buy I've ever done.
Another was The Italian Job for PS. Game was pretty crappy for 2002, but it was a bunch of fun.
I believe Dead or Alive 5 and Virtua Fighter 5 were impulse buys. I liked them for the wrong reasons, though.
believe it or Not Super Mario Galaxy on Wii was an impulse buy.
i was out gaming for a few years and did not know anything about Wii
Switch!!!
I don't generally impulse buy. I have always done the rental thing (blockbuster, now gamefly) for games that I wasn't confident in my potential enjoyment of.
I did go through a phase in the Super Nintendo-PS1 era where anything that said Squaresoft on it got a purchase. That led to a few lackluster games, but no pleasant surprises as I expected them all to be gold.
Most of my DC games, and kingdom hearts.
Since then I found ways to look into games before buying them.
Burnt to many times on games (not always lucky with pre orders).
I generally dont buy without atleast watching abit of gameplay.
For me it was GTA for the PlayStation 1. I had no clue what it was just thought the cover art was cool.
