but even if the xbox one wouldnt launched with the kinect and with no DRM plans they would have lost. The ps4 would still be more powerfull, and it has a Bigger and more diverse library like japanese games, as well as the better features like installing and playing games at the same time. And Share play and backwards compatibility with PSnow.

They just did 1 thing right and that was the PRICE!  They did everything right, they made the best console, made sure third parties were on board, released some good exclusives, supported indies, offered features that neither compititor have, focused on the gamers and is trying new stuff like VR. just because that the other two greatly fucked up doesnt mean that when Sony did the right thing they deserve less credit, it just means that Sony is gonna crush the other two, which is exactly what happened


And even Sony said they dont know why the console sold so much  so its far from a "deserved" lead. Its more like a "lucky coincidence".

lucky coincidence? how is that even a logical statement? did they just stumble on the PS4 with its stratigic plan and marketing plan in the office and say "hmm why not release this thing?". the reality is they been working on this console since 2007, and they worked hard. the sold so much refers to it breaking records, they expected very good sales but not the monster it became. which was logical, you cant predict that a massive hit will be a massive hit. 

TBH its an EA dude EA also thinks EA deserves money.  ehh... im gonna let this one pass. not because i agree.. but because its not even worth discussing.

they dont have a monopoly and they wont this gen. but its good they are the leaders because they are the only company to make a console focused on making quality games rather than push gimicks and useless accessories to try sell their consoles. and they are the only one that are trying to actually innovate in the gaming space.

Why what are you missing that MS or nintendo could have brought to the table had they been market leaders?

DRM box? more motion control games? taking more third party games off other systems?

They didn't "nail" anything. They took advantage of Microsoft's epic blunder. I think we know what really happened:

Not to mention the fact the PS4 was originally going to ship with its camera for a higher price and you're extremely ignorant and naive if you think that Sony didn't also have a very "all digital" future complete with DRM.

If Nintendo has pushed out so many quality games despite apparently not focusing on it imagine how many amazing games we'd have if they did!
