Yep, back in what many consider to be their glory days of the 'Entertainment Systems/Game Boys' with 3rd party support, traditional controls etc.
No wonder Nintendo are always trying to find the next big thing.

damn, that's right! Those are selling gang busters :D should give a nice boost
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
Can't sustain stock price, that's for sure.
Otherwise, should be down again with better outlook for next quarter.

I m guessing 1995 was in between cycles and the video game market was much smaller- less main stream then than it is today-

The explosion of Pokemon in Japan in 96 and in subsequent years in the West probably has a lot to do with it too. Would be interesting to see Consoles and HHs seperately.

I agree- it would
I also wonder which expenses Nintendo has cut and how much to shrink the company/overhead enough to be losing less money/making a small profit now- seeing how they werre losing alot more money in previous years with higher sales

The charts on the front page does have them separately, the first one is just consoles and the second is both so u just have to subtract the first chart from the second chart to find the handheld numbers.
But ya, in 1995 SNES had already peaked and was starting to decline and N64 wouldn't release until the following year. Also Gameboy was showing it's age and Pokemon had yet to release so 1995 was a transitional year.

Good point. So as far as Consoles go its 5.86m SNES/NES (if any) in 95 compared to 3.Xm WiiU/Wii in 15.
