Bob's Burgers
Rick & Morty
American Dad
Bojack Horseman
From my childhood, I loved:

I feel bad for todays kids not being able to see those great old series. Turned on Nickelodeon and CN recently and all I see are terrible unfunny cartoons nowadays. My kids won't watch that crap, they'll see what I had seen and they'll be thankful later. Same with games, they'll get Megadrives and PS1s for their bdays. ![]() |
You will probably be able to buy them a new MegaDrive if you move to South America.
On the subject of declining cartoon quality, in most of these kind of situations (people claiming 'it's not like it used to be') I tend to be the voice of reason and say it's a matter of perspective and culture and how the human memory works, and that it merely seems to you that cartoons are getting worse. However I agree with you, there does seem to be a much higher percentage of bad cartoons now than in the 90s.

Sad that some people don't give modern cartoons a chance and write them off, despite shows like Adventure Time and Over the Garden Wall being some of the greatest cartoons of all time.
Well shoot, where do I even start... I`m bound to forget some, but here we go...
Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Angry Beavers, Doug, Ah! Real Monsters!, Dexter`s Lab, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ed Edd n Eddy, Powerpuff Girls, Spongebob Squarepants, Cow and Chicken, Over the Garden Wall, Batman Beyond, Justice League, The Adventures of Super Mario Bros 3, The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, the Avatar (Both shows), and... that`s all I got from the top of my head : X
Good times... : )
