If the successor arrives after 2016 IMO it could do it in all 3 regions. Thus far the only one that Im failry certain it will do is France.

Thanks for the info guys! Judging by these figures, I can't really see the Wii U reaching one million neither in UK, France or Germany. There aren't big sistem seller anymore, and we are already at it's third year in the market.

Confirmed numbers:
2012: 97,000
2013: 178,000
2014: 240,000
... I think the other sales will be:
2015: 280,000
2016: 200,000
2017: 120,000
2018: 60,000
other 40,000 / 50,000
Tot: 1,215,000 or so.
But 800,000 seem seriusly too small...

I have to question this. The 3DS is doing just fine really, and the Wii/DS did amazingly well. The only reason the Wii U isn't doing well is because it's been poorly advertised and badly handled, but I can assure you that it's far, far from "Nintendo hate" here.
As for the OP, I'm not sure but it should be reasonably close.
I don't think it will hit 1 million in any of those countries:
1. France: 900,000 up to 990,000
2. Germany: 850,000 up to 930,000
3. U.K: 830,000 up to 870,000

Can you write your prediction Year on year for the France?
As for now:
2012: 97,000; 2013: 178,000; 2014: 240,000

Whoo , i predict France is a easy for 1 million. I reckon it could hit . 1.3 million in France especially with this years games and hopefully some reveals at E3.
Germany i would go for about 1.1 Million. it's not a bad market for it and Nintendo Europe is based there.
The UK is a touchy ,but i think it could squeeze a million consoles. Of course with the Xbox brand being much stronger here it is against it. In the other two countries Nintendo are close in numbers to XBOX. But in UK the Xone is three times the Wii U number and their in second place.
But as the UK is a big gaming market ,and one where people play multiple consoles , i think it could hit the magic mark because very few will buy a PS4 and a XBOX ONE. But many may indulge in a Wii U as a second console to play MK8 ,Smash,Zelda,X and all the other exclusives.
Nintendos improving exclusive library of games for the system will sway many to indulge in that second system.

In fact it would be nice to know if any Early adopters of XONE and PS4 are thinking of a Wii U as a second console this coming Christmas. What say you all.
