Saw it over a week ago. And we actually enjoyed Age of Ultron overall.

My biggest issue with Hulk/Widow was that this felt totally rushed and thus cheap.
To judge over Ultron as a villain i think i'll wait for the Blu Ray and watch it in english.Ultrons german voice was pretty mediaocre.

As a whole, this one felt rushed. Like there actually should have been 20-40 minutes more.

According to the director his original cut of it was near 3.5 hours long.

"nobody wants to see those versions of the movie."

Curious as folks I saw it with all stated they would have preferred a longer version, but I get the sell more tickets with more showtimes mentality.

With 50% more Avengers ^^ it often feels to rushed, the bad robot falls a bit short etc.

So yes, this one would've benefited from being longer. And after Age of Ultron i'm happy that Infinity War will be two movies. That would have been even more rushed.

One question: is the Hulk/Black Widow romance as stupid in the movie as it looks in the trailers?

Yeah, pretty much. Not sure where that really came from honestly, maybe just to give them something more to do.

I didn't think it looked stupid at all. In fact it made a lot of sense black widow feels like she's a horrible monster that needs to pay for her past sins. She probably feel like she can be close to the hulk who is also dealing with very similar issues. It was kind of out of nowhere but I just felt like we were supposed to assume they grew close as they worked together.

My big dissappoint was that Ultron just didn't feel nearly as epic/world threatening as Loki + glowing gem + alien invasion. I feel like Ultron could have been in the last iron man movie and they could have made that a lot better.

I saw it yesterday and I think it's a good movie.. I can't compare it to the first one since I've never had a chance to watch the first one though.

Of course, folks want to see rushed and underdeveloped versions of movies because folks are... no! They arent! They want to watch a good movie they paid money to see. If they dont want to watch it, they dont go in.

I dont think i ever heard anyone ever complaining about a movie beeing too long unless it was a boring movie since the start. People pay money and their time to watch a good movie. Thats what you should focus on delivering, not X minutes because reasons. Just make good movies or you will lose your audience. Beeing 100 minutes will not gain you more viewers if the movie is rushed and unsatisfying.

Overall I thought it was a fantastic watch.
I can understand some of the problems people have with it but none of them ruined the movie for me.
I knew what to expect from it going in and I think it delivered on all levels.
The action scenes were done very well in my opinion, and I enjoyed the portrayal of the new characters that the movie introduced.

Hulk/Black Widow romance....didn't bother me as much as it seems to have for other people. Sure it seemed a bit rushed but it didn't take away anything for me.

And the after credits scene gave me some chills.

Enjoyed the movie but......was Thor even in it? lol
I swear his hammer was more relevant to this movie than he was

Also found it amusing that Captain America seemed to do a large majority of the fighting. It's like they're still in awe of how much everybody loved him in his last solo movie and decided to keep that focus on him as much as possible.

I felt like I didn't get to see enough Thor/Hulk action. Heck they could have called this a Captain America 2.5 seeing as you saw him more than anyone else in the movie. It was entertaining though! it just felt like a filler for Infinity Wars more than anything else.

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

Some of the one liners were not funny, but there were quite a few that hit and worked. Just because they were not funny does not make it any worse of a movie for me. That's just how comics even are. I can easily tune it out, but for many it makes them furious and it is something I will never understand.

The Vision was pretty awesome and I like how the are moving forward with a new Avengers team.

Hulk/Black Widow stuff I could kind of understand. People need to understand this takes place a while after the first movie and things can change. They didn't have all that much chemistry mainly because Ruffalo is such a terrible actor imo.

^^There was plenty of Hulk action, but I agree, not enough badass scenes for Thor.

Worst marvel ever
