Eh, there aren't as many, but a lot Wii U games (especially the counterparts, like Smash, MKart, etc.) blow the Wii ones out of the water. It's really kinda quality over quantity, the way I see it.

bet: lost

Quantity really isn't that different either, it's 29 vs 24 in Wii's favor.

I think while the Wii has more titles in general, the Wii U has more quality titles but it also lacks some diversity. We need a new metroid and/or animal crossing soon. By the time the Wii U's lifecycle comes to an end, we will see lots of quality titles for the system.

Some of those Nintendo published Wii U titles are even't made by Nintendo first  or second party developers. All the Nintendo published Wii titles have been made by Nintendo first or second parties. On the other hand, the Wii had several titles that were originally GC titles that were delayed for the Wii's lineup. In the end, it made the Wii had a more diverse line up than Wii U's platformer driven line up.

Wii also has 3 NEW PLAY CONTROL titles and the GC "port" of Twilight Princess. So basically 4 games are ports from the prior generation.

WWHD is also a port but it skipped a whole generation before ending up as a remastered port.

So its basically 25 vs 24 (or 23 if you want to exclude WWHD because its a port)

In my opinion, WiiU had a better lineup. There are more quality games and a good variety.
Some games on the Wii lineup are just weird....like Big Brain Academy, Wii Music, Mario Strikers..... and for the WiiU lineup, all games are pretty enjoyable (with the exception of Sing Party - I didn´t enjoy that game)

WiiU's lineup is easily miles better.. There are only  4 or 5 good Wii games on that list!

Super Mario Galaxy's existence on that list means i'm obligated to believing the Wii's line-up was infinitely better
