They'd better disable voice chat support, though.

Agreed. We need to keep the children and their parents free from the crushing burden of choice, for with that choice there can be only anarchy.

I hope it is not for Wii U because they said they leave behind X360 and PS3 to take full advantage of PC, XOne and ps4's hardware, it wouldn't make sense to release it on the Wii U (unless the Wii U and 360/ps3 versions are being made by another studio that isn't treyarch).

PS4/XBO/PS3/360/WiiU release then. It's not gonna be on WiiU and not on ps3/360.

It would be awesome if BO3 was released on the Wii U! If it does, I would buy the game to show support for that decision. Nevertheless, I'm not getting my hopes up and will wait for a confirmation. Until then, I'll continue to play BO2 for the Wii U and hope that Devil's Third or Splatoon will be actual decent games that can take the place of any Call of Duty game.

Assuming they're targeting 1080p/60fps again (and assuming it is 8th gen only), a WiiU version shouldn't hold it back. It might be fairly lacking on the raw power front, but it's capable of most of the same hardware features as the PS4 and X1. Performance and asset reduction should be all they'd need to do (outside of re-working the engine for the WiiU's architecture).

There are a handful of things they could do at 1080p/60fps which would make porting to the WiiU difficult, but nothing we're likely to see in a COD game.

That said, if they're making a WiiU version they might decide to port it to the PS3 and 360 anyway. If they're making proper use of the PS4 and X1's hardware it would probably be quite a difficult port, but almost any port is possible if you're willing to strip the game down enough.

It makes sense to be on Wii U but third parties don't go well with sense, so we'll never know untill they announce it.

Calling it now, Black Ops 3 for Wii U.
Treyarch have worked on several games for Nintendo consoles in the past.
They've had little to no issues "working with Nintendo".

I'll consider getting this game if it lands on Wii U. I did enjoy the Black Ops series afterall.

..and for Vita? I'm sure it'd be much better than the CoD Declassified that was on Vita. *wishful thinking.

I would think zombie mode on 3DS/Vita would be really fun on the go.

Now this would make them a lot of money if marketed correctly to the New 3DS community.

If the New 3DS can handle something as huge as Xenoblade Chronicles, think how much graphically better they can make New 3DS games in its own right?? I would probably play the 3DS version more than the Wii U version if it has voice chat.

COD history on Nintendo consoles.

COD sold okay on Gamecube.
COD sold very good on Wii (almost as good on Wii as on 360 even tho the 360 was our 1 year earlier)
COD MW1 was 1 year late on Wii and it was the most important COD because it made it famous.(the whole COD boom skipped Nintendo platforms because of that)
Since then like half or a third or so skip Nintendo platforms.

Why the hell would any person that likes COD keep playing it on Nintendo platforms if the next installment is going to skip the system anyway? They just moved on or stopped bothering alltogether.

Activision made COD going from "popular on Nintendo" to "not worth it on Nintendo"

Their next game will then again be used as "noone buys our games so the next one will skip the system again". excuse.

What are you on about...?
