What if somebody only wants to experience the story of a game, and therefore will not purchase the game they would otherwise purchase because they can watch it online? Does that not hurt the developer/publisher, who created said content and did not receive money? The cutscenes took people's time and efforts just as much as the gameplay. People were paid to produce said story, cutscenes, music, etc. 

Neither of those are anything close to Nintendo focused. As I stated previously, Nintendo has done numerous things working with Youtubers directly from inviting them to events to having Miyamoto make guest appearances on their show to working with them on televised commercials...

Most who were core Nintendo's fans bit the bullet and those didn't care were free to ignore them and had no problem ignoring their product (which many people are doing to the Wii U right now). How appropo is it to explain the pride in the one who is doing the worst acting like they are doing the best. Joe was about to edit a bunch of videos he had saved on the Youtube database to be chopped up and eventually reviewed or (of for commentary) by the request of his community. He didn't have to do it. He was doing just fine before his fans got him the Wii U so he could do the job and give his opinion on the product. His review stands that he likes the Wii U was better than the Xbox One and PS4 in the amount of fun factor, but he's going to say the truth (which is why people listen to him) in that Nintendo are dicks. He should just succumb to their ad revenue sharing program because it is their product and they are extremely stingy. The law is the law. Nintendo is extremely ignorant albeit talented. Joe didn't even get to the reviewing process nor editing because Nintendo had it copyright flagged in no time at all.

Second Question:

I know those guys are Nintendo focused. If I had my way completely I would give those guys free copies though. They are two of the most vocal Youtube Gamers who would be open minded enough to work with Nintendo, but they will not tolerate Nintendos crap, which is why he's done with even trying. He'll play those games privately. Both PewDiePIe and Joe are both very avid PC gamers though and consoles are secondary for them. Their total views in a month dance circles around Nintendo. 

Dude, Joe has a lot that he does. His video's are only one part of his overall Youtube "Angry Joe" Venture. He flies out on location to events on his dime, he shoots on location with his own cameras, he takes the footage home and he edits those as well, runs his website and other things. He also has to balance doing videos for PC, Playstation and Xbox Platforms (Nintendo was going to be there but ...like third parties have agreed, forget them).

1. The video that was limited for him was a let's play/stream. It wasn't a review. 

2. Somebody said that he mentioned it takes about 60 hours /video. If we include his movie reviews and top ten countdowns his total time spent on his videos on average, per year, is (60/video*127 videos/year)/6 years = 1270, which is a lot more than what I initially said, but still almost half of what other people work on average. I'm assuming he's adding gameplay to that estimate as well, which means a lot of his recreation time is merged with his work time.

And Nintendo circles a billion times around them. The views of Nintendo related content on youtube circles around their comparatively small channels as well.

They're just a youtube channel, let's not exaggerate their importance here.

Nintendo gives free review copies to plenty of youtubers. I've seen channels as small as 2k subs get early review copies.
